some of the youths in my place of work really intrigue me...
they seem to be living in a world of theirs, where they can choose to see what others cannot; where they are totally free to do anything they so deeply desire since not a single soul is gonna care...for that, they sound happy and free...
unlike us, who dress up to what others choose to see; whose very actions have to be carefully executed in every way to blend in with the so-called mainstream...for that, we, the "normal" people, are nothing more than caged birds...

Naruwan! Part 3
the end of the tour, hooray! it took me a month to come to this entry, lol!! there're quite a few pictures, so i would leave my sentences short
first up, the new (relatively) landmark of taipei city - the taipei 101. world's tallest (yes it is! for those who doubt please go wiki it!), and of course taiwan's tallest building. however, i don't quite like it because it disrupts the skyline instead of beautifying it. it appears quite abrupt amidst surrounding, much lower buildings. here're the pics, in and outside. the last one would be my family at the entrance.
another landmark of tp, this is the Yuan Shan Hotel, or 園山飯店, hope i got it correct, haha. quite an interesting place, especially with korean star, that Kwon guy from Stairways to heaven, visiting the hotel. however, only saw his fans, what a let down. the next picture is another famous shopping centre in tp, called Mei Li Hua, or 美麗華, if i'm not wrong. pretty special with a ferris wheel as part of the whole structure. and guess who i met there? hehe
ahh... the all-famous Xi Men Ding. the orchard equivalent of singapore, or nearly. i've only seen "brandless" boutiques there though, but i believe there's a super high class area of it, if i'm not wrong. anyways, this is Xi Men Ding for you.
that's it for the tour. i purposely left out the tourists traps - stupid Ling Zhi sellers and greedy jade sellers, to name a few - so that the tour would appear sweet and short. and since a picture speaks a thousand words, i shan't say too much, hehe. now for some friendly shots with my fellow tourists. and also pics of stars i've met on my trip. please tell me you can recognise them, lol!
there're also instances of brush-passes, meaning i know the star is there but i don't have the chance to see him/her. the Kwon guy korean star mentioned earlier, Guo Ping Cao from taiwan series "Fighting Fish", and also Elva promoting her new album at Xi Men Ting, but all these are mainly for bragging rights :P
that's it. end of tour. next naruwan entry would be about my hometown. but that'll have to wait, cos i realise i've not been updating about more recent stuffs instead of something that happened nearly 2 months ago, lol! ciao, for now
