Naruwan Taiwan, Part ??
LOL! this is loooong overdue! this entry is supposed to be done like half a year ago, LOL! anyway, lemme upload some photos first before i go for my next taiwan trip.
here's a not-so-close shot of my hometown. sleepy old town. but don't get fooled by the mist! it's really mist, and not haze or smog. the air in Puli is renowned for being one of the freshest and cleanest in taiwan, lol!
ok, the town isn't as small as the pic seems, trust me. this is where i took the picture from. it's from a relatively famous temple called the Zhong Tai Monastery. Super big! and the architecture is truly amazing. it has its own hostel, restaurant, museum, temple stuffs, and even an academic building just to preach Buddhism!
here's a shot of one of the market streets, or Cai Shi Chang. In s'pore terms, market/bazaar. the picture below is Puli's brewery, famous for its Shao Xing wine.
next is the famous Sun Moon Lake. nice and serene place, i feel.
then is another famous location, Chin Jing Farm. It's called a farm because there's a new zealand guy who came here and reared his sheep, lol. another very nice and scenic place. from the first pic you can see the words "Ching Jing Little Swiss" (translated, literally).
that's all. actually there're more pics, but since i'll be going back taiwan in another 12 hours' time, no point posting all, lol! seeya guys (exclude jer and shui) in 3 weeks' time. oh, btw, i'm still contactable by handphone and emai. ciao!
